i've been watching some of st. vincent's tour videos from a couple of years ago. i love what she says about making embarrassing music (replace music with whatever your thing is). if you feel like you're in a not so comfortable place with your art or craft, keep pushing. you'll get there.

come sail away

i had a day date with ashley on saturday. we started early at the farmers market, stopping at shops and museums. lots of good food, drinks and conversation. she's one smart and funny lady. we continued into the night and headed down to the willie street fair - i may or may not have sung a little karaoke... [sam, how come we've never done that together? soon.] how was your weekend?

saturday, white, white snow

is there anything better than a saturday morning? probably not. it was so quiet and well, white this morning - it felt good to walk around and take some photos. we're going to spend the rest of the day working on projects and watching movies on ellie and kori's big tv. enjoy yours.
