m & m came to take me out on a birthday adventure.

saturday morning, everything is going right. everything is cool.

and today. today you just may be. look out martha, i even dyed that frosting myself.

* note, red velvet cake batter may look like a big bowl of chunky blood at first. keep mixing, a lot. it's a fickle batter. it's worth it.

birthdays and cupcakes

beautiful day. we slept in, grabbed lunch at the brasserie v (one of our favorites in madison),
did some thrifting and guitar wishing.
our last kick ball game of the season was rained out, so we ran across the
street to enjoy dropped cupcakes and tequila shots.
