i'm a big fan of cynthia mittweg - she's one of those women who fills her life with creative projects and people and seems cool and sweet all at the same time. 

i'm also a big fan of gray and pink together.

portraits

in a couple weeks i'll be leading a photo day with a group of teen girls as they kick off their summer camp. (i am beyond excited)
we're going to focus on portraits and different photography techniques you can use to express who you are. their challenge will be to create three different portraits of themself - how you see yourself, how others see you and who you want to be.
they will have to think about using color verses black & white, looking into the camera or away from the camera, using a reflection, etc...
i've been zooming around the web, gathering examples. these are some of my favorites.
