when night falls at croakerfest, we apparently get really goofy, dance and play with fire. after croaker played, my brother's band from milwaukee closed up the night. they played a ween cover and totally stole the show. until next year croakerfest...

near the grounds of croakerfest, is a small cemetery hidden in the woods. it's really lovely during the waking hours.

friday morning (the day before croakerfest) we woke up early to coffee and bloody marys on the front porch. the day was spent greeting first comers, reading in the grass and testing carson's home brewed beer. we also gathered fire wood which consisted of ellie throwing large pieces of wood at us while she rummaged through the forest with her chainsaw. i've never had such a terrifying workout.
