our event was a hit.
this was my first go at planning an event of this size (i'm talking we had a program and the food wasn't pot luck style and the musicians brought their own sound guy). it's different from the house shows and smaller fundraisers i've worked on before and i like the challenge.
i like working with the creative team we have at canopy. i really like my new roll as event coordinator. plus, we got to dress up and get the word about about the families we help and dance.
i couldn't believe the amount of support i had there on a personal level. carson's family came and my damn friends kept showing up and buying stuff. i'm blessed.
