[collaborations] drawings and words

to celebrate the release of japanese author Haruki Murakami's new book,  
1Q84, nowness held a drawing contest in which artists created a work based off of
Murakami's past novels. the winner, Kimberley Salt, choose one of my favorites,  
kafka on the shore. it's stunning, don't you think?
